Those wacky Massachusetts voters...

I suppose I should post something about the recent MA Senate election to replace Teddy's seat, although I'm pretty exhausted from all of the Facebook debate.

Scott Brown won and Republicans are celebrating as if they just won 10 senate seats plus the White House.  I understand the implications of a preventing a filibuster-proof majority, but please.  It just means that Obama and the Dems in Congress are going to have to work a little harder, especially on the health care bill.  Hey, I'm going to remain an optimist here and say that maybe we'll end up with a more polished bill.

Was a "message" sent to Washington?  Perhaps.  But my concern here is what the real message is, especially from conservatives.  They claim that they are all about "change" now.  Really?  YOU represent change now?  Oh, because Obama and the Dems couldn't fix the world in 12 months so now YOU have the REAL solutions?  I get it.  Is the GOP really in this to "make sure we get change done the RIGHT way," as they claim?  Or are they actually just in it to PREVENT change.  It seems to me like the latter.
